Aquinas Foundation invited Tottenham Hotspurs & England international footballers, Jermaine Jenas & Tom Huddlestone to The Nottingham Academy to open the “MUGA” the Academies brand new state of the art sports facility.
The day kicked off with an intimate Q&A session for the 2 players, where the pupils dug deep and probed into the sporting and personal lives of the 2 Tottenham stars. Tom & Jermaine then coached a PE lesson for the pupils, where a football match was set up with Jermaine & Tom as rival team managers, after a low scoring game the match was tied. Finally Jermaine and Tom cut the ribbon and open the sports facility….Sky sports News covered the whole day and will be aired from 20/3/12
Tom says “It felt really good to come back to my old school and see some familiar faces, brought back some really good memories. Today was top class, its amazing to be a part of something like this & im sure it meant a lot to children too.
